Specific Duties Of The Divisions In The Central Apparatus

Accounting and Price Division

The specific duties of the Accounting and Price Division are as follows:

1. Ensuring the introduction and fitting of the Accounting General Regulations and of the Proceedings in force, taking into account the features of the different activities developped in the System of the Ministry of Transportation and in the Divisions of Transport from the Councils of the Provincial Administration.

2. Making sure that the System of Prices and Tariffs, in those activities in which the Ministry of Transportation is a Pricing Agent, is consistent with the bases defined for the price formation.

3. Making systematically integrated analyses of the management behaviour and results, propitiating a higher economic efficiency and the best use of the available resources.

4. Ensuring the periodic information on the behaviour of the economic activities that the Ministry takes care of.

5. Being responsible for the state duties related to Accounting and Prices, in conformity with the stipulations in the Legislation in force with regard to the authority and duties by the fields of actions common to all the Bodies in the State Central Administration.
