Division of Planning

The specific duties of the Division of Planning are as follows:

1. Suggesting and managing the application of the Policy of the Ministry of Transportation as to:

   1. Short, medium and long-term, integrated development, assessing the corresponding Territorial and Interbrach Development Programs;

   2. Organizational Improvement;
   3. Energetics (Energetic Program)

2. Representing the Ministry of Transportation before:

   1. the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment and other ruling OACE, as to scientific and technical activities and those on Transport development;

   2. the Ministry of Economics and Planning and the other competent and ruling Bodies and Organizations regarding the organizational improvement.
   3. the National Office for Standardization..

3. Taking part, representing the Ministry of Transportation, in the national balances by energetic carriers and work out the operative plans for alloting fuel and electric power to unions, enterprises and other economic entities.

4. Further developing the possibilities of national and international scientific and technical collaboration, systematically linked to the development policy by the System of the Ministry of Transportation.

5. Promoting and advising, from the technical viewpoint, the interbranch, national and international scientific and technical events held.

6. Taking on the Secretariat of the Central Commission for Fight against the Corrosion from the Ministry of Transportation.
