The specific duties of the Minister´s Secretariat are as follows:

1. Advising the Minister on everything regarding the development policy of the different transport branches and as for the techniques and methods for its implementation.

2. Ensuring the preparation and suitable formality of the whole documentation to be used by the Minister, so as to attain the efficient performance of the Ministry.

3. Assessing projects, proposals and alternatives of business submitted to the Minister, and recommending the variants needed for the decision making.

4. Fulfill everything related to the public attention, in accordance with the stipulations in the Legislation in force.
